At the end of the day, people aren't mad at the actress, they are mad at the industry, the giant colonialist corporation called Disney, & I sympathize there. So many say "Fck Disney anyway why derive happiness from them" but that just invalidates the argument w/o addressing it.

It's not my place to judge the ones who are angry at the colorism, but I WILL heavily look at the ones who imply that color is a form of native identity.
As for the actress, 16 is a tender age to receive it, but unfortunately Disney & Hollywood dont make it easier.
