So.. apparently during wisdom teeth removal you’re suppose to be put under anesthetic? I grew up thinking that wisdom teeth surgeries are extremely painful and you’re awake through it all & you feel everything until my bf told me otherwise very recently...

From what I learned trying to make an appointment for mine, whether you're under anaesthesia depends on whether the wisdom tooth is impacting other teeth, whether its below the gum line & other factors. If it comes above the gum line & is easily removed you don't get anaesthesia.

Mine is a funky case bc I only have two of them and one is fine but the other is below the gum line and impacting my teeth in that area directly
so I'm going to need the more expensive option to get it removed which is great.
