Are there absolutely no other resources to consult? No geneologies at the library, etc? What does looking into your DNA tell you of your family tree? It cant tell you who your grandparents are necessarily, nor can DNA give you a family tree unless your family also give theirs.

Reach out to your family perhaps? I mean, it's your choice to make! But just know that these tests that tell people their "ethnicities" are quite misleading. People are made up of a little bit of everything in their history, but DNA cannot tell us things like "14% Filipino" jsyk

For ex, I gave DNA to National Geographic to allow them to better map the evolutionary path of my ancestors and all humans. The release I signed was for my DNA to be used exclusively only for that reason & anonymized. It told me I am 12% Mediterranean. What does that mean to me?

That's ok! Even our histories and DNA has been commodified thanks to capitalism unfortunately. Plus, STEM isn't always taught this deep in many schools, so it's natural you may not be aware of this. Look into your geneology at your local library though! You may find answers.
