Millennials and Gen Z: we need a viable alternative to the nobena. Many of us are moving away from, or are already far from being practicing Catholics. Yet, as kids, the lisåyu was INSTRUMENTAL in bringing us closer to family. In MY case it did that and helped me with Chamorro.

I like the idea of a Chamorro/Refaluwasch center in major villes where community members can meet to learn crafts, drink, & just discuss their village lives and concerns like a council. Little kids can be tågu'd and play safely while serving the elders. Culture will be our life.

See I hope the Guma Sakman can one day be like that again. I have plans I need to run by 500 Sails staff, but if done right, the GS can be a center of learning again.

The very important question—where can we center forgiving ourselves and then also having faith, releasing from control, loving peace. Religion helped with that.

Yes! How can we feel connected to our taotao mo'na and ancient Sainas that allows them to enter the space and guide us? What practices can we do to honor them? Great things to ponder for sure
