Know your triggers. Mine are chocolate (any kind, dark chocolate especially), watermelons, caffeine (sometimes), heat. Sleeping with a humidifier may help bc it keeps the insides of my sinuses from drying out. When they're dry from sleeping in a/c, they tend to trigger easier.

I've had them since I was little and have learned to live with them. If I avoid chocolate and watermelons, I can go months without having one. Another thing is drinking dairy milk helps, idk why but it always has since I was little I'd drink it during a nosebleed (not easy to do)

Also, I know that list sounds comical af but I swear I'm not joking. When I meet other people who have nosebleeds commonly & we joke about the watermelon part, it's the funniest thing. Watermelons tend to make mine last FOREVER, like all night kind of nosebleeds.

as far as triggers i noticed whenever it’s hot it’ll bleed, but sometimes i am just chilling and it’ll bleed but i personally don’t feel like it’s hot (if that makes sense)

That's normal and yes I get you lmao. I forgot to mention that after I eat chocolate I don't necessarily get a nosebleed right away. I usually get it like the next day, up to three days later. Sometimes from washing my face. Sometimes my nose can bleed even while sleeping.

awww man, one time i was getting ready to go to bed and my nose started to bleed right when my head hit the pillow

Yes, keep your upper half elevated, look up kinda & HOLD PRESSURE to the bleeding side for 5 mins at least. If both sides are bleeding pinch your entire nose. Don't pinch too hard, use a tissue/toilet paper otherwise you'll scratch your nose up w/ paper towels, spit out the blood
