How often do you hear the other side of the Cannabis discussion?

I noticed the jobs at dispensaries were plentiful & paid well. It definitely was something to witness as it evolved. Needless to say, I support it but also understand that there's a time/place to consume responsibly, like alcohol (though ppl commit more crimes drunk than high).

It's interesting to see how other countries socialize cannabis into society.

my biggest concern about legalization in Hawai’i is the amount of gentrification it’ll lead to. more haole will come from the continent and buy up land to produce their product further disenfranchising native hawaiians

Yes exactly, that was a problem I saw in Vegas too, it definitely was gentrified at many places. There was one place that had a Colonel Sanders-looking dude in a top hat as a greeter at the door

The Northern Mariana Islands and Guam have both legalized it recreationally. Hawaii has too, but medicinally.
