Golf courses are an incredible waste of space imo. How are they even profitable? Are they hosting picnics on the side? Block parties? Concerts?

What happened to Lao Lao Bay in Saipan was after the golf course was built those chemicals washed into the bay & destroyed everything. As someone who grew up going there, it got so bad. Esp after typhoons when a lot would wash in at once. My dad didnt take us there for ~10 yrs

They started some serious Lao Lao Bay watershed restoration projects years and years ago, after much of the damage was done. Now, its looking a bit better, my Dad finally wants us to go there again more often now
