Why when you buy a new Jeep does the dealership send you a crapton of new stickers that all say "Jeep" on it as if it wasn't "Jeep-looking" enough that it needs it? Tacky. Very tacky. The car is not your identity yo.

For some, not me, a Jeep is their dream car. People like this will want to put it on other things: laptops, planners, trunks, etc. I do think it should be optional as most will just toss the sticker. I'm sure there are marketing groups that weigh cost vs exposure.

A Jeep was one of my dream cars! But my fiance beat me to getting a new one, and they sent him the stickers to go with it saying "Place on your windshield to show you're a Jeep VIP!" It's tacky to us both
he's also rly glad the 2019 Rubicons don't have "Jeep" on the grill too1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

To put it anywhere else besides the car makes sense! But to put it on the windshield as more branding for some hollow sense of being a "VIP" for paying like $80K for a car...idk bout that.

I agree it's tacky. You don't have to beat it to death. LOL. I guess for this same reason, I don't really rock anything I myself have designed.

Interesting! You think its tacky for you to rock the stuff you designed even tho you're a great designer? I have never seen this perspective! So many brand themselves and rock it. I didn't know ppl like you existed...but mad respect. Self-confidence is needed for that mindset.pic.twitter.com/4KBOp17HlH

It's also that I'm a minimalist. I own 5 t-shirts total (plain black).

So admirable. I try to lead a minimalist life, but I'm hella bougie when it comes to my food, drinks, and coffee gear

Some of it was out of necessity. The amount of stuff I had was overwhelming and none of it made me happy. So when I was in Boston I started giving things away or selling them. I felt more in control of my life after. It got more intense as I prepared for moving to Mexico & Europe

Only for a few months though. I was trying to make it back home by Christmas and I left in the summer.
