I been having bad dreams on diff levels of intensity usually centered around me/my sisters/my family getting hurt by rape, murder, or something wild. I learned control mine or wake myself up. If you meditate before you sleep & watch a vid of where you wanna "go" that helps too
Only had sleep paralysis a few times, luckily it isn't often. But if you can't manipulate your dreams then you can at least influence them clearing your mind or focusing before bed.
The upside of controlling mine is I can make Gerard Butler my boyfriend

I don't wish my imagination upon anyone else sometimes. My sleep paralysis can get pretty intense too.
