Can we change the conversation around decolonization as a restructuring of our relationship with the US rather than just kicking the US out??? Because too many of us have the wrong idea about it and think advocating for ourselves ONLY means we let NK invade or some stupid shit

Me too my dream is to burn it all down. But everyone gets there in baby steps
and most people walk away once they hear something negative in the first place. It is essentially a restructuring of our relationship and we should feel EMPOWERED to do that, not fearful of it1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

We should feel at the very least that it is an OPTION to reevaluate this relationship. Many dont try bc they think its a pipe dream & won't change in their lifetime (as if change is such an easy thing to accomodate in one's lifetime) so they don't wanna be in it for the long haul
