Chamorus like to talk like ALL the ancestors were perfect and loving and wanted the best for us. I find that hard to believe.

Are you...arguing about how "good" dead people who came before us were? Like why. What put you up to this?

“The ancestors wanted better.” “The ancestors didn’t want this.” “The ancestors didn’t want that.” I’m not arguing anything. Just pointing out something I’ve noticed a lot of people saying.

Is it wrong to assume that the people who came before us wanted good things for the generations to come after them? Do you want that for your kids/grandkids/great-grandkids? Just pointing out that there is no reason to assume otherwise.

If, 10 generations after me, all my future great great grandkids only remember what others said about me, what stories they told about me, I would love for those stories to be about how I overcame adversity & wanted the best for them. Not the disrespect of calling me a bad person
