UPDATE(!!) to this: I contacted Roland Quitigua (expert on the coconut rhino beetle on GU) personally & sent him pics of the trees. I don't apologize for my voice though. Citizens definitely care about this issue enough, so here's an easy way to recognize you have a coconut rhino beetle problem: 1) diamond-shaped leaf cuts (not jagged) and 2) quarter sized boring holes right below the crown of the palm tree.

For anyone who wants to report a possible sighting or questionable tree, EMAIL quituquarj@triton.uog.edu with pics as soon as you notice damage, send GPS coordinates/location if possible, and CALL 671-735-2093. The number on his website link isn't his direct line just fyi.
