Why I will NEVER pay admission (or work for) SeaWorld, and ANY aquariums/parks that hold these huge pelagic animals captive.https://twitter.com/_danielari/status/1138566439747641345 …
Oh no girl! So, I used to work there. They don't have anything there that gives me a second thought of animal cruelty. Cruelty is keeping a pelagic marine MAMMAL/fish in there that travels 100's of miles daily in their natural habitat such as dolphins, whales, or pelagic sharks.

The remaining turtle they have now, Nåpu, was part of a rescued pair from Indonesia (I think?). Turtles can travel far true enough, but his species generally can also stay around the same area if they get fed well, which he does. Which is also why we shouldn't feed wild ones.

Although it is relatively cruel (is it tho??) to keep them out of the wild and in captivity, I'd say it's justified in this case bc of what you said. People who love or are unfamiliar w/ the ocean & can't go for themselves can get educated & experience it in some small safe way
