The problem with classes like finance fundamentals is that there is a definite need for it, but unclear how you would tailor such a subject to be taught to high school students, or even students in general. Some have not even a debit card to their name.
I agree, but as someone who had to teach myself I also think it's something better left to people more professional to teach. Does that mean their hs teacher? Maybe not. You run into the problem of what type of teacher IS qualified to teach financial literacy, & the curriculum.

Like, where would you even start? Taxes, balancing a budget, and explaining banking seems easy but the spectrum of preparedness for kids would be wild I'm sure. Some may already have started their 2nd jobs, others have only a savings account, others have barely an allowance.
