Well....that only (usually) applies to private residences. Not public places, or places of work. Shiet, now THAT would be crazy. Imagine stand your ground laws in public places!

You could look at it like that but it could also become that people know that others could be armed & will think to not just whip out a gun. The whole video game concept could also be applied to any type of weapon. Knives, bats, anything really.

I hear ya on that front. Just gonna respond to the part about the video game: I'm making a reference to ppl being flippant about murdering who probably have some deep-seated issues, but I also know that video games have not been shown to desensitize people to killing.
