Dissing other rappers does not mean your bars are dope. Until you’re selling out your own shows, worry about yourself. It’s like 90% of local rappers have “these other rappers blah blah blah” in their verses and the shit corny as fuck.

I agree, competition in anything is healthy, but a very small piece of the culture. Hip Hop started off as fun music, to give people a good time where they could forget about the troubles and stress.

I like a battle every now and then ( King Of The Dot/Smack Url) But to focus on this is just stressful, especially when the local mc's could use that energy toward growth and progress.

Some rappers just fall back on it because it's easier to talk smack and diss or to talk themselves up rather than rap about things that matter to them
