    A judge issued an emergency protective order for the suspect in January. Texas doesn’t require domestic abusers to relinquish guns, nor does it require background checks on unlicensed gun sales. Texas is ranked 9th in the US for women murdered by men.

    Deja Matts, 19, who was pursuing a degree in public health and her sister, Abbaney Matts, 20, who was not a student at the university, were killed. Police said Jacques Dshawn Smith, 21, is the suspected gunman and was the ex-boyfriend of Abbaney.

    Regulating proxy advisors was not something I ever expected to see in a TV ad. I’m going to guess this will not create a groundswell of actual support. But it is indicative of how much money is being brought to bear here in an attempt to create the appearance of support.

    I feel emboldened to speak a personal truth today: I've never like the TeamSnap or GroupMe Apps though baseball coaches love them. For me email worked better. So many apps seem to be developed because they can be not because they are needed.
