CSO Engagement and Policy on Climate Change action is intended to develop policy research in order to develop concrete advocacy messages for integrated policy and strategic frameworks and identify opportunities, including effective mechanisms for policy engagement.

The CSO Partners will be collaborating with networks of stakeholders of NGOs and practitioner stakeholders from academic institutions, including other experts to contribute in ensuring there are relevant agricultural climate change policies.

CSO Partners of the EU Climate Change Project are proactively contributing to the development and implementation of relevant policies to enhance the ability of land and agriculture sectors to adapt to climate change, while also contributing to other environmental goals.

Social capital = the networks and relationships (and norms that guide their interactions) that exist within a group of people that allow them to work together effectively towards a shared goal.

The Social Capital Study looks to explore > the role of social capital in strengthening the effectiveness of CSOs and climate change adaptation champions as well > whether social capital increases the effectiveness of CSOs and incentivises climate change champions.

The method aims to empower youth groups as part of a dynamic learning experience. It is also an effective monitoring and evaluation tool.

Participatory video training enables groups to document their own stories and situations, which are then shared with a broader audience, such as policymakers.
