We have written to Dr David Starkey to inform him that his honorary degree will be revoked. An Investigating Committee concluded the award was no longer valid due to comments made by Dr Starkey that they judged to be racist and contradictory to our values
You may have seen reports of racist comments made by Dr David Starkey. His comments are abhorrent and contrary to our values. We understand and share the outrage that these comments have provoked and have initiated a review of his status as an honorary graduate
Ladies, if he:

- gets more likes than you on Insta
- lives in Alex Square
- becomes much more interested in you when you have Greggs
- communicates mostly via quacking
... he's not your man. He's a Lancaster University duck
