Wild-ass guess: the economy will promptly adjust with the middle-class way of life costing exactly $12,000 more per year, therefore ensuring the money slowly transfers away from those it claims to help.

I'm old enough to remember when most people thought the following were 'pointless' and/or would 'never catch on'... - the internet - email - mobile phones - phone cameras - Bluetooth - Facebook - Amazon - Netflix Majority opinion can be incredibly short-sighted.

You should turn this into a Netflix series. 26 episodes per season.

One of my college teachers used to be a student there a few years before, couldn't get a job in the field he studied for so he went back to teach it. His classes were mostly giving us badly organized material to read and do by ourselves, while he read a book.

This is what speaking truth to power looks like.

Lets add a new vector of attack, poke new holes in the threat model and pray it all works out. Market to people who cant communicate and profit! What could possibly go wrong?

I met people in college who couldn't even cook breakfast eggs. They'd stare at the pan in confusion.

Why not just tell them the troubleshooting you already did? Apparently speaking is a hack now. 🤔

100% test coverage, full specifications and documentation. Clean code: doing the wrong thing, correctly. Agile: same thing, but over time and over budget.

Every generation calls the one before harsh & unenlightened, and the one after fragile & naive. Nothing changes. You just move from one to the other. Then die. Better enjoy the ride.

Fix to the stupid auto scroll Twitter is forcing on all of us. Go to settings. Then accessibility. Then check reduce motion.

The problem w college is it teaches young people things that are actually wrong. So they spend their 20s ill-informed. Enter their 30s too busy to question what they learned. Finally, in their 40s or 50s, they realize it was BS, and by then everyone is like, “Ok, Boomer.”

Here’s a good rule on code correctness. All code you haven’t tested is wrong. All code you have tested is also wrong, but appears to work by coincidence. And code you’ve proven correct does the wrong thing, correctly.
