I think ppl just want the best for their children don't they? They don't want a psychologist/psychiatrist who is going to affirm a child as a different gender without asking some tough questions, particularly if hormone blockers are involved which can have permanent effect.

People who think affirming therapists don't "ask tough questions" are WAY off base. Also, blockers are a fully reversible intervention.
