    Agreed. The reason most of us turn to sports and other forms of entertainment is to escape politics and the problems of day to day life.

    ESPN's brand is damaged. The network had a great brand -- a sports fan's best friend. It's Deadspin/Twitter-provoked pivot to preachy sports comrade of the left makes it difficult to launch new product.

    I’d say that “abortion should be treated as homicide” - a view I do not support, but that I rationally understand, and which is shared by millions of people - is a hell of a lot more reasonable than “I didn’t think of those first responders as real human beings”

    This hits the nail on the head. I personally support abortion rights for the first trimester, but fully recognize that it is an anti-science position, before one even attempts to grapple with the morality.

    The intolerance of the pro-abortion movement knows no bounds. Know why? Because the pro-life argument is convincing. Science is convincing. Can't have powerful pro-life writers like Kevin out there persuading moderate Americans to oppose abortion.
