Punishing people when they're in the process of getting help doesn't seem constructive. This would only discourage people from seeing therapists and worsen the problem.

So should we allow child rapists to access therapy without being reported as well? Viewing the rape of children for sexual pleasure is a heinous crime against children & the demand for the material is the reason that it is being produced. Perpetrators should be held accountable.

While not therapists, many admins of naturist forums have to screen membership requests. We reject requests that post and RT porn, which means we have to see a LOT more porn than most people. I am leery of where this could go.

If they cannot safely get help to break away from this material, then they will not talk about it with a therapist and this will simply keep the children victimised for longer. The priority should be to save children over punishing perpetrators.
