I've been in nearly every house on my street while they were being built.

When the subdivision went up behind us, we "entered a construction site" because we were curious about the quality or lack thereof of the homes going up. But we're white, so no one cared.

Several years ago a man entered my home that was under renovation, wandered every floor, smoking and in his pajamas. I spoke to him and he left. He remained alive, later died of a heart attack. But I didn’t track him down and murder him, even though I was really pissed with him.
