Netanyahu is supposed to be giving a "TED talk" any minute now to launch the final week of the Likud campaign. I assume it's going to be TED in style, not substance, but I guess we'll wait and see.

Starting almost half an hour late, with MK Sharren Haskel talking about "fighting for all of our freedoms" - she's very into free-market liberal economic policies. Says Netanyahu fights market concentration. And a requisite Milton Friedman shout-out.

Netanyahu opens: Good evening bots! You're unable to think for yourselves! They used to call us (anti-Sephardic slurs) and now they call us bots. Thanks.

Ohhh Netanyahu has a whiteboard. I predict we will see the Laffer Curve. He LOVES the Laffer Curve.

Netanyahu: The first thing we have to do to make sure our future is different from our past is what? Someone in the audience shouts "legalization!" (aka of weed) Anyway, the first answer, Netanyahu says, is military power

And the money for military power comes from economic power, Netanyahu says. Where does that come from?

The public sector is sitting on the shoulders of the private sector, which is carrying all the weight. The public sector has become too fat, and we could collapse. We have to put the fat one on a diet. I've been on a lot of diets. It's difficult.

Netanyahu proudly says before he instituted his reforms people could live off of welfare, but since then ppl have to go to work. Lowered child allowances "which didn't add to my popularity." He says this increased economic gaps at first, but now it is lower than in 20 yrs

Netanyahu closed the speech by saying that voter turnout is super-importance because his polls show that people on the Right are complacent. Voter turnout seems to be a major theme in the final days of the election. It's also theme of the recording leaked to Channel 12 tonight.
