Poor efficacy. Sorry. This is not any better than having a traditional test by a professional! This is negligent. Doesn’t help statistics and it could put out false negs and people will spread it. Very very irresponsible.

My team of doctors would like to distribute these at-home coronavirus testing kits to our patients at Cool Quit. I see only a $119 cash pay option for these tests. Is there a way we could bill insurance companies so that patients don’t have to pay out of pocket for these tests?

Doctors prescribe it and you go pick it up. This isn’t the same procedure as in-clinics. There it’s a deep sweep. This is from the nostril where they find less shed and yes I have spoken to a clinic.

And I didn’t say it wasn’t approved. It was approved in a pinch but that doesn’t mean it’s efficacy is high. If you get a bad sweep because it’s a low swab you run risk of false neg. Face it ppl aren’t trained and screw up easier test.

Omg dude. Docs r saying that the procedure is a problem. Holy hell. It’s a nostril swab. Not a deep one like with traditional tests. It may not get a good sample. They swab you to your brainz for a reason in clinics. Less shed is often found in the nostrils. Esp If early in virus
