    Gilcrease Ave & Grand Canyon Dr in is closed while a fatal collision is being investigated. Avoid the area for the next few hours.

    Grand Canyon & Gilcrease is closed while LVMPD Fatal investigates its 97th traffic fatality. Prelim investigation shows the red car was SB Grand Canyon when the driver of the white car made a left turn in front of it. It has been a violent weekend on the roadways in the valley.

    UPDATE - Homicide Lt. Ray Spencer briefed the media this morning advising Daniel Theriot has been found deceased. This case has turned into a criminal investigation, with the mother and the mother’s boyfriend suspect in the death of the child.
