#5 - the last trick I learned is kind of an embarrassingly basic one. I've struggled to get front shuvs right for a while and now I'm finally starting to get the hang of them and actually enjoy doing them.

#3 - I discovered skateboarding through watching the X Games on TV as a wee lad, maybe 7 or 8 years old in the late 90s. I watched for entertainment mostly, though. I didn't have the urge to try skating til I after I played THPS.

#2 -my story is the same as so many other skaters' my age. It all started back in '99 with THPS. The game was dope, I wanted to try skating IRL. I got a cheap board from a big box store and never looked back.

#1 - My first "real" board was a custom complete from
@westsideskates
back in 2001. Alien deck, some Tensor lows with red baseplates, and the little slider piece. I still have the wheels, but I have no idea what they are, that memory is long gone.

If you don't know about Kalief, check out Time: The Kalief Browder Story on netflix. It's truly heartbreaking/infuriating to know what Kalief went through and see how differently this murderer is being treated.

RNC Platform: America is a dystopia. (We made it that way but we can’t say that part out loud). Democrats will perpetuate the dystopia (that we, the GOP created). So give us 4 more years to hasten the apocalypse (that we are responsible for but will blame on the Libs).

Fallout 3 - I can say, with 100% confidence, that had I never played Fallout 3 I would not be working at LRG. It's too long a story to tweet, but my love for this game pushed me to do some things and make choices that put me in a position to start working in the game industry.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater - this is the game that spurred my interest in skateboarding and also introduced me to new types of music that I still enjoy now. I think that THPS, more than any other game, has shaped my tastes and had the longest-running impact on my life.
