Photo from NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover shows close-up of a small, predominantly white sample tube lying on the sandy surface of Mars. About the size of a marker, the tube features various sections of white, silver, gold and gray.
One small sample tube. Built on Earth by caring humans; filled on Mars by an inquisitive robot. Now it sits waiting for a potential pickup and return journey, not many years from now. #MarsSampleReturn Read more: go.nasa.gov/3WzZ5qF

The red sandy martian surface shows the tracks of the Perseverance rover, which takes a selfie under the tan-pink sky. The rover is gray with four black wheels and a mast camera.
We’re celebrating the start of @NASAPersevere’s third year on Mars. The rover recently deposited ten samples of Martian soil. As Percy continues to study the Martian surface, scientists gain new insights that may help future explorers on the Red Planet. go.nasa.gov/3IJ7p3g

After our successful inflatable habitat burst test at our Waterton campus in Colorado, which is well-known for its elk population, we reviewed the footage and noticed that our stuffed elk mascot got a little too close for comfort... 💥 🎥 🦌

One heck of a boom! 💥 We conducted a burst test of our expandable inflatable habitat that greatly exceeded expectations, bursting at 285 psi, 6x the max operating pressure. These inflatable habitats will provide astronauts with a safe environment for work in deep space.
