A star just went out in the cosmos. We have lost an amazing human being. Stephen Hawking fought and tamed the cosmos bravely for 76 years and taught us all something importantabout what it truly means to celebrate about being human. I will miss him.

Hawking. His body was a black hole that consumed him little by little. Only a huge amount of energy lasted so long. What a hard life he had

Me too. Like you, he endeavored to make the complexities of science comprehensible (and interesting) to laypeople like me. He succeeded spectacularly. I am forever in his debt.
