The @sfchronicle and @rachelswan in particular have been on a mission to take down @chesaboudin. The "sources" for this story are Nancy Tung, who lost to Chesa, and Tony Montoya, the head of the POA, who dumped 700K into attack ads to defeat him.https://twitter.com/KyleCBarry/status/1354159642889187328 …

Lara, this seems like deflection and table pounding, and so in the interest of table pounding you should point out then your conflict of interest, that Chesa appointed you to Chair the Innocence Commission. Is that just a prestige award, or are you paid for your work?

What is deflection and table pounding? Are you suggesting that it is appropriate to say that not charging a minor theft means one is responsible if that person later kills? Zero tolerance for every crime! The death penalty for everyone, or you're responsible for them!

> What is deflection and table pounding Ignoring the truth of the case and attacking the reporter is classic deflection and table pounding > not charging a minor theft An assault is not a minor theft.

1) What? The reporter is being attacked for bad logic and biased sources. That's neither deflection nor table pounding. 2) Slapped his hand and stole his phone. I stand by my minor theft comment. Technically assault, but not serious. (1/x)

3) You ignored the rest of my comment.does that mean you agree that all crimes should have a minimum sentence of life in prison? Or is that immediate consequence of the story's logic just blow away your attacks on the attacks on the story? (2/2)

I showed the two premises of your attack were unfounded and illogical, there is no need logically to continue after that I will take your suggestion that a scuffle on the back of a bus from a robber to a man sleeping is not an assault with a grain of salt
