Here are the first images taken by #LICIACube of #DARTmission impact on asteroid #Dimorphos.
Now weeks and months of hard work are now starting for scientists and technicians involved in this mission, so stay tuned because we will have a lot to tell!

Are there any additional images released in October? Is there a library with the totality of #liciacube images?
In the post impact images, is brightness saturated to show faint details, or the original frames are saturated too?

Great job! Thanks for providing these images.
I look forward to seeing more, as they are downlinked eventually.

What an awesome set of images! Congrats to the team!
I took the liberty to remove the banding noise from the one in the other post!

Interesting how the center of the gas cloud is physically separated from the asteroid. Is that because the asteroid kept moving after the impact?

It seems that the ejecta are extending in every direction. Is there any image that shows ejecta in the same direction of the relative velocity of DART?
