We may well be at the most dangerous financial moment since the 2009 Financial Crisis with current developments between the US and China.

Markets are now suggesting the highest risk of recession since 2011. Only slightly less than half over the next year. The collapse in medium and long term interest rates is ominous.

But stocks hit ATHs a week ago. Surely the markets aren't that dumb?

I warned about an economic crash years before the 2008 crisis, but the people in power wouldn’t listen. Now I’m seeing serious warning signs again—and I’m calling for action before another crisis costs America’s families their homes, jobs, and savings. https://medium.com/@teamwarren/the-coming-economic-crash-and-how-to-stop-it-355703da148b …

Stop the fear mongering. I realize you want to scare consumers into retrenching to cause a recession and defeat Trump, but the US economy is strong and not dependent on exports to China, which has sucked wealth from our country. Tariffs will not cause a recession.

Let’s remember the people who got us in this mess in the first place, people like Krugman and Summers.
