You cannot consent to abuse. This would be a betrayal of people at risk of these incredibly harmful practices. It’s taken half a decade for the Conservatives to come up with a ban that wouldn’t be fit for purpose. It’s just not good enough.

Conversion therapy is not therapy. It's abuse. And nobody can consent to abuse.   The Bill to #BanConversionTherapy must protect all LGBTQ+ people, in all settings and contexts, to be workable and effective.
