Writing for the public has been one of the great joys of my academic career. So has the opportunity to be edited by James Ryerson at the New York Times. Join us this May for a fully-funded workshop where we'll explore all aspects of writing for the public.

  6. IT'S FINISHED! I just handed my publisher the complete draft of a new book, "7½ Lessons About the Brain." It is a collection of short essays; each one covers a little-known but critical topic about the brain and human nature. To be published in late 2020.

  10. FYI, we tried this and it actually appears to have worked. We released Trichogramma wasps in our closets weekly for about 2 months, and we haven't seen any more clothing moths. The wasps themselves are unnoticeable unless you carry a 20X magnifying glass.
