    Of course! We’re working hard to make sure all constraints are fulfilled to be playable even down to swapping an EEPROM into a DSP-1b enabled chip with the right SRAM size. So you could even have a straight-up SMKDX cartridge to play

    Sorry. This may have been answered previously already. But will the project be able to be played on OG hardware or Mister? Or emulation only?

    Hey! I'm MrL. I mostly do research on SNES games, and am currently co-developing a mega-expansion to Super Mario Kart, called "Super Mario Kart Deluxe", or "SMKDX"! I also develop research tools for SMK, and sometimes create art! ❤️💜💙

    Ideally, when we assemble our final build, I’d like to be able to distribute some safe method where another user could set up their Project L to be an identical copy to what we see. I’d like DX to be both a standalone mod, and a modding framework for future modders.

    I’ve been thinking about this, and from the beginning I wanted to be able to have SMKDX be accessible for everyone in terms of modding. The issue is we can’t release just the raw source code without running into major copyright issues. Is there a SAFE way to do this?
