I'm fairly new to LA and haven't spent much time in Griffith Park, but it's hard to beat a stroll in Central Park. I wouldn't use the term "hiking" there though.

That's a tough one. They're different parks. Griffith Park has more hiking trails, but Central Park has done better at kicking cars out. Zoo drive desperately needs a bike lane friendly road diet. It's posted speed limit is 25, but people regularly do 40 mph.

Agree agree agree! GP is moving in the right direction with things like the Parkline shuttle. Angelenos tend to get pretty prickly when their cars get “restricted,” so it’s always going to be a bit more of a battle here.
