Just checked and I was able to view the LA Times. Maybe log out and log in again.
Thanks so much for the prompt reply & 'testing'. The only option I could figure out was to log-in by selecting libraries from the list and selecting LAPL. And then nothing happened. I'll give it another try before giving up.

Ah, my popup blocker was preventing the log in box to open & there was a ' in my user name. It's working. Thanks again for your assistance.
