I’ve been a US nomad for a while. At least for me the novelty didn’t make up for the lack of lasting relationships. The best is nomading with a few friends.

Nomad lifestyle works well if you have friends scattered geographically already as it affords you the opp to the visit ppl. Downside is that it's hard to build "roots" and "belong" to a community in the trad. sense. Still, for me, I love the romanticism of living on the go.
