Blue would clearly be the investor's favourite colour, imo, and green not far behind. Recalling how I started, just try playing different decklists and strategies? The innocence of discovery is relit ever so briefly with new sets, but nothing beats the first time.

Btw, I'd tag you as a Green player, but you never know

Izzet is a lot of fun. Especially as a commander deck.

Blue/Red is fun. This specific combo is about experimenting and finding surprising interactions between sorceries and instants that trigger off of each other. I’ll show you a perfect example:

http://tappedout.net/mtg-card/niv-mizzet-parun/ …. Niv-Mizzet is a Blue/Red Dragon Wizard and a perfect example of this color combo. Whenever you draw a card (a Blue specialty), it deals damage (a Red specialty). Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery, you draw a card.

My vote is green, or a blue/black combo. Green can multiply advantage like you wouldn't believe. Resource accumulation and amplification is a green trait, iirc. Blue/black focuses on wasting your opponent's resources. Green = long Blue/black = short

If I had to recommend, I'd suggest a green elf deck. They have a mysticism/spiritualism you'll appreciate. They're resourceful, multiply at unreal rates and have significant control elements. If this deck was an unstable investable asset, it would be the s&p 500

Dack Fayden has been good to me in the past. Although, blue black is where my heart truly lies.
