Networking shouldn’t be about jockeying. It’s about hanging out with people and having fun, bonding over shared interests. It’s about making friends and appreciating the other person. Never network with an ask in mind. Just chill. Sooner or later, the asks will find you.

Spending time in the company of others is a gift. I love to hear people’s stories. I often find when I meet aninvestor, we spend maybe 10 or 15 minutes on investing in a 2 hour convo. That shared interest is a jumping off point to learn what makes the other person truly unique.
