Memetic knowledge transfer is beautiful but now memetic knowledge can be corrupted without recourse by... pretty much anyone who knows how to do it. This has major applications in investing with regard to the creation and substitution of “reality.”

I think you're right, but it's also relative. The growth of news post printing press also lead to things like the witch burning. People were shocked by all the terrible things going on they didn't know were there before... That weren't really there after all.

Agreed. Back room conversations now being subject to scrutiny by people not even in the same house. And the fear of screenshots being shared unscrupulously out of context and attacked by outsiders has restricted intra tribe conversation as well. But technology will find solutions

Totally agree on the mute part. They had managed through constant cross communication between themselves to radially hijack my timeline. I was following so many finance accounts and wondering why nothing popped on my timeline. Muting them all finally freed up my Twitter.
