Feel like this is where certain parts of the rationalist community comes up short. If your views can be dictated by “truth” you are vulnerable to programming by others. You become a reactive robot instead of a reality weaver yourself.

Im very uncomfortable with the idea that there isn't objective truth. I might go a step further and say it offends me. I might also question how anyone could encourage the belief that there isn't an objective reality. Can we all just be bullshitters as long as others believe?

Didn’t say there’s not objective truth. There is truth we don’t have a say in. There also much “truth” that we do have a say in. We’re probably actually already all bullshitters without knowing it, but it’s not always a bad thing if it preserves the social fabric.

What’s an example of something that isn’t “true” that you’d like to make true?
