You also learn how to write to get an emotional response. There is nothing more important in copywriting than conjuring emotion with your ads. If no one cares, no one buys. It's like professional wrestling in the sense that a good or bad emotional response is better than none.

Wonder why a negative emotional response is better than none in copy? People who aren’t enticed by your message won’t buy, but they may signal boost your ad. In the newsletter biz this often happens with Stock Gumshoe. Those who don’t like ads introduce them to people who will!
