Something that bugs me is when I tell people about the rural community I’m from and they think I will like them shit talking it b/c I left. Left b/c there’s no opportunity there, and culturally it wasn’t good for a tran. But I still love it. It’s beautiful. May return one day.

Like it’s really complicated, and cities have their own unique benefits. I’m choosing to live in one right now. But rural areas have their own unique benefits too, and I do feel they are overlooked sometimes by the major metros. Being rural is nothing to be ashamed of!
