I think Musk is just as reflexive. When shares are low he is worried about failure. When high all is good in the world even if the underlying hasn’t changed. If it stays this high two months he gets a $1b bonus. They just have to survive

One posssibility is they can do a backdoor raise by cashing in the hedges they put on with the convertible issuance, then just allow conversion and dilution. Those hedges are now worth a looooot of money.
