Maybe the co is behaving unethically by committing fraud. But as punters, it gives us another aspect to bet on. Will the fraud stop and be the co’s undoing? Or will it continue, and propel it to greater heights? Seems like we should consider this before shorting.

Reminds me of the story that a bunch of investors in Madoff “knew” it was a fraud, they just thought he was their fraud and was front running, so they stayed invested. If you think there’s fraud or unethical behavior it’s hard to say it’s stops with what you can see.
