Memes are a compression of knowledge but compression can result in corruption. We cannot convey meaning to each other perfectly and some corruption is inevitable. Corruption can be gamed to alter perceptions through compression. Knowledge is only kind of "real."

In reflexive systems, knowledge corruption through compression impacts what is "real." If corruption is gamed, then so is what is real. "Reality" only kind of exists in reflexive systems. Skilled dark artists alter reality with perception when they corrupt knowledge compression.
