Yet another week’s commute has begun and a major portion of Mulholland Drive remains closed to through traffic while storm-damaged roads are being rebuilt. Continue to use alternate routes.

⚠️ Mulholland Closure UPDATE⚠️ We want to remind #Angelenos that Mulholland Drive has a long-term road closure extending from Laurel Canyon Blvd to Beverly Place to the west of Coldwater Canyon. Commuters are advised to avoid the area and obey traffic officers.

Kirkwood Ski Resort's Chair 6 weather station just reported a wind gust of 191 MPH this evening. Hard to believe this a true, but the same station reported a 209 mph wind gust in February 2020, which if verified would be the highest wind gust ever measured in California.
