understand that your friends don’t wanna talk every day. understand that your sig other doesn’t wanna be lovey dovey or super indulgent everyday. lots of people need rest from performative emotions. all people need rest in general. it’s okay. it doesn’t mean they don’t love you.

you can’t communicate something that you don’t know how to put into words. words are lazy. words get misinterpreted, sometimes you have to really tap into people and pay attention. The signs are usually there that they need some space.
